Submit a plate replacement form along with any remaining plates (if available), a copy of your current registration, and payment. For personalized or specialty plates, additional forms may apply.

How do I register my out-of-state vehicle?

Bring the vehicle for inspection and provide your out-of-state title and registration, proof of California residency, valid ID, and proof of insurance. All applicable fees are due at the time of service.

What’s needed for a title transfer?

Provide a signed current title, completed transfer form, valid ID for both buyer and seller, and proof of purchase (bill of sale if needed). Additional documents may apply depending on the vehicle history.

How do I renew my vehicle registration?

Bring your renewal notice or current registration, proof of insurance, and payment. A smog check may be required if your vehicle is due for one.

How do I get a duplicate registration card?

Provide your vehicle info, valid ID, and pay the duplicate fee. We’ll issue a replacement on the spot.
